TT–Valdora?
Road-- Kuota Kredo?
Neither of the two you guessed. Seat masts are not the same for the Valdora or the Kuota.
Any ideas on what they are?
generic asian carbon TT frames? most of the carbon frames sold under the big names all come from the same carbon shops. sometimes they make the exact same frames (or slightly different) and sell them without logos. that might be what these are.
Where’d you get the pics?
Friend emailed them to me. He’s thinkin bout buyin one.
Any ideas on what they are?
I bet they can be “That Guy” frames, with the purchase of a lot of 100 they will put any brand you darn well want on em!
Aren’t those the frames a certain forum member was selling on BF or RBR as part of group by or something?
Originally he said they were from the same factory that I think made a certain european brand V*
Whether they are or not I dunno, and if the same design there is no garauntee the lay up is the same either.
how much?
Generics out of Taiwan?
Not sure what they are asking for them. Just trying to figure out if they are similar to any brand name frames.
You’re probably correct.
Sorry, I realized I said V*
Thats the pronounciation, but in English the first letter is W.
BTW, I have one of these frames purchased from an outfit called PedalForce. I have their carbon MTB hardtail and love it. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute to buy one of these frames…with the exception that their TT frames likely have too slack a seat tube angle.
I think they are generic Asian frames, often found for sale on eBay. I also think they are the same frames as sold by companies such as PedalForce, Element 6, Suplicy, VeloVie, etc (If not exactly the same frame, then they at least look very similar. I’m not analyzying every minute detail to see if exactly the same).
Thanks Everyone! Seems the general opinion is they are Taiwan generics.
here’s the ebay link to the TT frame for all those curious, its more than I would want to pay for the frame: http://cgi.ebay.com/Carbon-Fiber-54cm-TT-Frame-Fork-2-Cages-Headset_W0QQitemZ220382225297QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRoad_Bikes?hash=item220382225297&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A15|39%3A1|240%3A1318
.
Looks like two different pedal force frames. The first one being the TT2, the second one being the RS2.
That said… they aren’t the exact same. The Pedal Force ones (atleast the TT2) have a bit more sex appeal with more curves. =)
And, it seems that the TT2 can be ridden at either 76 or 78 degree, but it may take a Soloist-like forward seat post?
The TT frame like you said is a Pedal Force frame but it looks more like the Karbona if there is ANY difference… your right bout the road frame, looks good a buddy of mine was close to getting it…
