Which computer is best?

I am wanting to get a completely wireless setup with cadence. A lap function would be nice, but not necessary. I know the garmin is probably the best, most accurate, but also the most expensive. The ones I have looked at so far are the Cateye CC-TR200DW, cateye strada double wireless, cateye wireless v2c, and garmin edge 305. please give any advice or input that would be helpful in making the decision. i have it. love it. most others typically reply the same.

I just put the Cateye Double on my bike Saturday…rode Saturday and again this morning and I have no complaints. It does everything I want it to do. The only thing that took some time was getting it all aligned. I had to set it up differently then the instructions said because there was not enough room to mount it as they suggested. But, it still has worked great.

If you think Garmin is expensive look at the cost of a Polar setup with GPS. Used to have the Cateye double wireless it was fine, but the went through a whole heap of batteries quicky.
Now have an Edge 305 which works great with the cadence sensor.
One thing I would recommend is to go for a rear wheel sensor. That way, should you spend anytime on a windtrainer without a measuring device, you will be able to record your speed and distance.

v2c is a great computer.

Vote the same - I switched to a Garmin 705 purely because of the ANT+ , I loved my V2c

V2C if you want a simple, solid and relaiable computer showing cadence, speed and distance.

Any other brand if you want to spend time on installations and adjustments, or pressing a lot of buttons to see more information while riding.

(V2C does also measure time, average and max speed/cadence etc - but is a bit hard to operate on the ride).
