Which bottle cage for my frame

I would like carbon of course, and something that matches or flows within the design would be nice…

You spend 4000 bucks on a frame & fork, and they don’t give you free bottle cages? WTF?

A Zipp cage would look nice with your Zipp wheels.

Make sure you get the matching Zipp wheels decals.

I think the Speedplay Nanograms would look really nice on that frame.

what size frame is that? 54?

if it’s a 52 or less, i’d consider getting an arundel sideloader.

otherwise, campy centaur or chorus bottle cages (or the record cages if you can afford them).

…which in turn requires that you deck out that beautiful frame with record, of course.

normally i would recommend something from elite or arundel, or even tacx, but honestly it seems like one of the campy cages would look best with this bike.

actually it’s a 56. I am putting record on it, so the record cage would fit in nicely. Anyone use Elite Patao or Custom?

a… I am putting record on it, so the record cage would fit in nicely…?

So you are going to get rid of the Shimano stickers then?

the Tacx Allure will, for me, be the most beautiful cage ever.

SCHWWWIIIIIING!!!

you had better post pictures when you’re done!

i have a pair of white elite custom cages. they’re decent. the paint scratches off easily, but they do a good job of holding bottles in place. can’t complain for $17 CAD, though.

are you thinking about getting white bottle cages? on this frame in particular, i’d suggest staying away from them, though you should definitely stick with white saddle+bar tape if that’s what you’re planning.

Bontrager makes some inexpensive ($15) reasonably light (38g) cages in colors that would match the frame.

Specialized Rib Cage Pro cages - they come in faux carbon and also a blue shade that would match your frame nicely. Perhaps it’s considered bad form to put Specialized cages on a beautiful Felt, but they are reasonably priced, lightweight, and won’t leave marks on your bottles.

Arundel chrono. Those guys at Arundel give great customer service and the aero shape would fit well on your frame.

Elite Patao Special Edition 24k Gold Plated.

I have the sterling silver plated ones, and they’re fantastic. But with your bike, go all out. It WOULD look good with the blue, and matches the posh/argyle attitude too
