I’m new to this forum so this may have been discussed before… Anyway I have purchased two books on ironman training, Going Long by Joe Friel and Be Iron Fit by Don Fink. Could anyone give me their advice on which book is better?
Thanks

Have not read Be Iron, but Going Long is a great book. Also check out Gordo’s site for more good info.
2nd Going Long.
I have them both. Both books have their own appeal. The info is better in GL, but the programs (IMO) are lacking. BIF has the programs (and swim workouts) that GL does not have.
The books are written for folks at different levels. BIF is more “beginnerish”, which means Fink cuts to the chase more often.
Honestly, I like BIF better. It has more usable “stuff” for someone early in their training. GL and TTB are similar.
