Can you explain the “X” thru the killer Tat? I don’t get it or what it hads to do with Floyd Landis?
I found the original use of the photo online.

It was part of an article that was originally in Triathlete Magazine.
I finished reading his book. It was very good, lot’s of almost slams on Lance, but then always a quick cover.
Has anyone else out there read it and after reading it do you think he did anything wrong?
I truly don’t.

I am in the process of reading it and I think he is very honest. I found his descriptions of Lance at the Patron of the peloton to sound almost exactly like what was said about Hinault in his day. I kept up with the case since day one and even had the opportunity to chat online with Floyd a few times and I think he is guilty, but should get off based on the technicalities of the screwups. I honestly think him getting off because of the shoddy work done to test his samples might actually spur the UCI and WADA to clean up their labs and testing procedures.
WADA is a mess, he makes that very clear. I have met Floyd a few times, he is a good, unassuming guy. I like him, maybe that makes me biased, but I hope he didn’t, he is a good guy. We need a good guy in sports right now.
Just finished reading the book as well. His legal team seemed to unearthed a culture of incompetence and invincibility within the anti-doping prosecution community. With public opinion BLINDLY on the anti doping prosecution community’s side they could do shoddy/slanderous work. The book and the follow up from Ladis et al MAY shake things up. Did Floyd do it? I dunno. Is he a “nice guy” - sure! I work with dozens of “nice” guys too. These guys are the ones who steal cars and manufacture crystal meth and rob banks (not all at the same time =-) … However nice these guys are in the right context (our classroom) they still have violated society and are paying a price for it. Regardless of how the Landis affair ends, Floyd certainly IS paying a price. A pretty complex kettle o’fish.
Well put. Even if they clear him, his name has been dragged through the mud enough that it won’t matter. On a completely different subjest, did it seem like Lance was cold, uncaring and at times slamming Floyd when they were interviewing him on the last day.
He said last year seemed like a funeral!
