Where to swim in Detroit area?

I will be in Detroit this week for business and need a place to swim on Wednesday morning. I’m staying in Madison Heights.

Any suggestions?

Can’t help you in the morning, but my Tri Club swims from 8:30-9:30 pm @ Henry Ford High School right next door to Madison Heights.

Not sure where Madison Heights is located, but if you’re near one of the Northern Suburbs (Auburn Hills, Rochester, etc.) try out the North Oakland County YMCA. I used to swim there when I was working in the area. Its a brand new facility with a really nice pool. Here’s the link: http://www.ymca.net/index.jsp?assn=3105. BTW, I don’t think the site is updated as they show them closing at 5pm daily which I know is not the case.

No swimming on Tuesday for the club (I go to the local Bally’s). The club also runs on the track @7:30 pm. Mabye we will see you there
