This will be my first destination triathlon event that I will have to fly to. I will be bringing my wife along. I live in the midwest so as long as I’m going all the way to the west coast I might as stay somewhere nice as well as convenient. My wife is not too big on going to these events with me so I would like to stay somewhere nice to help pass the time for her while I get down and dirty with bike check in, race prep , etc.
I would like to stay somewhere my wife would have an easy time getting to the race and also enjoying some of the nicer amenities in the area. And yes… dropping loads of cash is to be expected. Thanks!
I have a place booked that I cannot use here: http://www.southerncalifbeachclub.com/ Probably the best place for this race. Half a block to the finish and right on the run course. I have it for Friday night only, but if you want it I can pass it along to you for the price I paid ($288). It’s pricy but it is a 1 bedroom condo and you cannot beat the location. Let me know
