I’m looking for some advice for you folks that have dont the race before or know the area, looking basically as cheap as possible. Most likely going to go up by myself on Saturday maybe Friday. Any suggestions would help.

I am staying at the King William this year. The Comfort Inn is reasonable also, and very convenient.
I have stayed at B & B’s the last few years and really enjoyed them also. The Carriage House was very nice, but I believe it was just sold.
I’ll second the King William. I’ve stayed there the past 3 years and the location is very convenient.
