Need suggestions on where to stay in Austin for the Longhorn race. Looks like the race location is out by the Expo Center which is about ~15 min from downtown. I’d like somewhere nice but easy to get to race site. Anyone that’s done the race before or live in the area have any suggestions? Thanks for the help 
There are several decent hotels at the I35/290east intersection. Any of those will let you get to the race pretty easily. Hotels near the Arboretum are a little further, but early on a Sunday morning, you won’t have much traffic if you stay there either. They are near the Mopac (loop 1) and 183 North (research blvd) intersection.

I’m having issues too. I’m too young to rent a car and don’t know how I’ll get to the race.
