Would you recommend Richardson Bike Mart or Plano Cycling or other? I don’t see any F.I.S.T. certified fitters in the Dallas area.
People/entities I give money to: 1) The IRS; 2) Property Taxes; 3) My mortgage company; and 4) RBM.
They were recently F.I.S.T. certified. Ask for Woody.
Nowhere!! There’s not one shop in Dallas that has the reputation that Jack and Adam’s / Austin Tri Cyclist do in Austin.
Fitting is a personal experience / subjective to each individual and absolutely cannot follow a specific guideline. Everything has to be taken into account with power data being the most important.
Worth the money and the 3 hr drive down South to Austin to get the fit. If you go to Jack and Adam’s…Zane does an awesome job and was recently written up on Xtri.com. He’ll use a computrainer to view power and spin scan throughout the fit. http://www.xtri.com/reports.aspx?riIDReport=4125&CAT=0&xref=xx
in Austin - I went to Austin Tri-cyclists. RBM is a great place to browse but I just didn’t get warm fuzzies that they knew anything about fitting for tri bikes.
That’s good if woody got fist trained, hadn’t heard that - could be an option in the future, but, I think i’d still go to austin for my fit.
