We’ve all heard of the dreaded “5cm behind the BB” UCI rule that will make some of our bike positions illegally steep. Here’s the UCI reg: 1.3.013 The peak of the saddle shall be a minimum of 5 cm to the rear of a vertical plane passing through the bottom bracket spindle1). Is the peak of a saddle the frontmost point, or the highest point? If the latter, wouldn’t that be the back of the saddle?
it’s the “tip” of the saddle.
