So, in addition to Chavez’s offer of assistance, it looks like Belgium and the rest of Europe is lining up to help out. Despite the fact that we’re in a pretty good position to help ourselves.

But you’d know this already if you bothered to check it out before whining about how nobody loves us, and nobody ever helps us out, and we’re always so quick to help everyone else, and we’re so good, and everyone else is so rotten. Suck on that.

If it’s like it was last year, Quebec Power and a bunch of other eastern Canada utilities crews are already on the way to help rebuild the power grid.

Of course, the countries couldn’t possibly be offering support unless the news is reporting it. So how do you know the countries haven’t already pledged support? Give your head a shake.

Head in the sand? I’ve been watching the news for 2 straight days and have not seen one single report where anyone is offering help. CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC.

Some nations may have offered, I just have not heard any reports of it. That’s good to know.

It’s just not being reported at this stage. It’ll never be front page news but will come out in the wash later. Also consider that in the big global picture, there are relatively few countries that have the resources to help.
