Shit, I just saw this and recognized it. I served 6 months in Yugoslav navy in Pula.
Aside from the heat and humidity it was fun. The Threshers are a Low-A team so no problem getting tickets. The ballpark was nice, though could use more shade given where it is.
I tried to get tickets to a few minor league games but (Lakeland, Dunedin, Tampa, Bradenton) or the Rays and Clearwater was the only team playing at home while we were there.
