He wanted to know where to mount a magent on a bike with 909 (or some other disk on the back)…my simple answer, on the front wheel. Not a dumb question at all.

But that could be a dumb answer if he has a Cateye Double Wireless!

Taking the question literally and assuming that he has a reason for mounting the magnet on the disk vs the front wheel, the best way to do this is with a dab of silicone, then a strip of electrical tape over it to smooth the surface out a bit. I did this on a Renn disk when I was running a Cateye Astrale wired to the rear wheel, and it worked great. When I switched computers and didn’t need the magnet on the disk any longer, it just popped right off and the silicone rubbed off with no residue.
