I have made this one for my TT bike.

I always want my computer as far up the aerobars as possible to minimize the difference from my line of sight up the road. Mine’s on one of those stubby aerobar mounts similar to this…

It’s tightened to the point where I can rotate it out of the way to get my aerodrink bottle between the aerobars and then rotate it back in position after the aerodrink is in position without using tools. Works like a charm.

This is a fairly clean mount and puts the information right in your line of sight with your head down.

The tape could use a little smoothing …

Neal,

Thats a very slick mount on the Ventus. I have the same bars, and I was wracking my brains for a solution that would mount a Garmin to the basebar (I have a torpedo bottle that precludes mounting anything out in front). How is yours fixed to the bars?

I just have an oldschool bike computer (no HR or GPS) and I just use a plastic computer mount that straps onto one aero bar. Ihave it as far forward as I can, so i can see it tucked in behind my wrists.

That’s a clean looking mount. I’m sure you could sell a few of those…

Hello aftereffector and All,

There are some screw holes in base bar and I made a small plate of light gauge titanium utilizing those holes and attached the standard SRM clip (ground down a bit to fit) for the head unit to snap into.

and thanks for the encouragement heliskyr** **… however …

I am busy getting http://www.view-speed.com off the ground with our skewer product - (and other products to follow) - and I expect the newer technology to outrun the need for large displays and methods to mount them.

Cheers,

Neal
