the distance from my bottom bracket to my saddle? I know to start from the center of the BB, but where on the saddle itself? Which is a Fizik Arione Tri, by the way.

measure to where your taint would be on the saddle…
Seeing as I ride the same saddle on each of my TT bikes, I measure from the center of the BB in a line to the seat clamp with the measurement being to the seat rail. BTW - mine is 32.25 inches. When I measure my road bike with a lower profile saddle (Flite EVO) I add the height difference.
From the base to the tip, but not when flaccid, heheheheheheehe.

What are you trying to measure? Saddle height or effective seat angle. If saddle height measure from BB to top of saddle at mid point of the seat tube.
For effective seat angle Slowman has his chart by measuring BB to tip of saddle. Unfortunately it’s not really accurate since it doesn’t account for saddle length or rail/saddle relationship. Check out his latest article about this on the tech section.
