Is that one off or is the area mostly in that range? My one off I use mostly is now 5;15, but just saw that oil went up again late in the day, so expect stations to take advantage and do the hike tomorrow..
That is probably one of the cheapest, but others nearby are very close (within .05)
Remember XOM is talking their book…they WANT higher oil prices and getting speculators to step in and buy longer dated futures that XOM would happily sell them helps their bottom line

And it is about how much you are willing to make your people suffer, and since the average Iranian is probably suffering 10 times the average American right now, seems like their bottom may be a bit deeper than ours is. Thus far for us it is basically about gas and other related prices, with a few people losing jobs and 14 dead. They have 1000’s of dead, a huge jump in joblessness, and massive food shortages. Only problem those people do not get to call the shots, I think in the end it will be our people calling the shots of when to cry uncle…

IT is interesting that the price for gas after currency and measurement changes is the same in California as Ontario. BC gas prices a fair bit higher
Here is what I’ve paid for gas for the past 7 months. I only buy gas once a month generally and always at Costco in Nashville.
12/27/25: $2.35
01/19/26: Didn’t make note of this purchase
02/16.26: $2.55
03/14/26: $3.39
04/04/26: $3.69
05/02/26: $3.89
05/29/26: 3.79
Sunoco’s around me are at $3.89, $3.99
Mobil, Exxon, Shell are over $4.xx
That’s interesting. It reminds me of my Dad, he’s always kept a note pad in the glove box tracking his gas purchases.

I drive by a station every day that I use as my gauge of gas prices. Yesterday was $3.65, this morning $4.39. Not sure what is causing the spike as prices have been trending down. Quick Google didn’t provide an answer. 
Mid 4’s yesterday in this area. Mid 5’s for premium.
I was away racing around Watkins Glen last weekend. On track, fuel was $8/gallon for 94 octane. That’s the highest on-track price I’ve ever paid.
I’ve tracked 325 fill ups in my 11 year old car over 86k miles - I missed the first 6 months and 15k on the fuelly website.

I’m going to have to get gas soon, but it’s in the shop getting brakes done (seized e-brake). The cheap place by work is $4.299. BJ’s is the same, but I can get a $0.10 discount on top of that.
There is a full service Mobile next to the train station/295 entrance ramp that’s stupid expensive: $4.779 today. $0.50 more literally 4 blocks from the cheap place by my office.
At the risk of stirring up a debate about whether it matters, not all brands are the same.
e.g. BJ’s is not a top tier brand, so it should cost less, and comparing a BJ’s to Mobil isn’t apples/apples.
Top Tier refers to an industry standard. Can search brands by country, by zip, by brand, etc.
I figured Rutters vs. Sheetz were the same. Recently learned that Rutter’s is top tier, Sheetz is not.

In my 30 years of driving and racing, I’ve never noticed a difference - except that VWs really dislike Speedway/Marathon.
But that doesn’t matter much in this particular case - this Mobil station at $4.80 vs. the Shell in the next town over for $4.10/g or the other Mobil you can literally see on the other side of the train station thats $4.35 
Ya I have wondered if Top Tier gas makes any difference, probability not in mileage, but in longevity of the engine if there is a difference. Yesterday my cheap station(top tier) finally dipped below 5 bucks at 4.99. Only station thus far to have done that, others are at 5;05+..
But I fear this is going to only be a few day blip with barrels going up once again…
