Futures are up 18%…things about to get ugly
Here in Perth the price of petrol (gas) has gone up about 15c a litre which is an 8% increase. So it is about $5.00 USD per gallon.
The Australian stock market has lost about 4% since the USA attacked Iran.
Who needs enemies when you have an allie like the USA.
I saw him on CNN yesterday. He said that India didn’t need to worry because there are tankers with oil waiting weeks to unload in China and they will just turn around and bring that to India.
He sounded very earnest so I am sure China has agreed to do this.
On Friday, $2.99 - 0.05 for having a BJ’s expensive membership.

I think the war will end when too many innocent civilians are killed…
Obviously I’m joking
Please keep this thread on topic and related to the war’s impact on oil and gas prices. If it turns into a Trump bashing thread, it’ll die or get moved to the Politics forum.
Oil basically unch on the day now
Over $3 a liter here. Petrol has been very expensive here typically $2.50 a liter give or take. Over $3 will start breaking some people. I have noticed that very few well-off people understand what its like to live paycheck to paycheck, unable to get ahead, what little is saved goes into emergency expenses. People who live paycheck to paycheck typically have a dick of a boss in a blue collar profession who would not be sympathetic to ‘cant drive in boss because the tank is empty and I literally can’t afford petrol’.
$4.50/gal here. This doesn’t sound good:

The global economy isn’t held hostage as the article says. It just has to absorb the cost of driving around. And if we’re just talking about global cost, there’s an easy way to offset that – drop tariffs.
$3.34 today

That is crazy. Thats just about $7/gallon in USD, no?

Duh.. it didn’t begin in USD. ![]()
3 NZD is 1.75 USD or so. 3 AUD is 2.15 USD or so.
$12 NZD would be ~$7.15/g. 12 AUD would be ~$8.50/g. That’s a lot of different units ![]()
Most of western Europe paid 7.5-9.5 USD/gallon in February, and have for years. See Gasoline Prices - Countries - List North American prices are very low in comparison.
g = gram
Can you convert that to pesos/°F?
