So, the icon carbon fork on my 2001 Lemond is starting to look a little ratty. Chips in the paint here and there, a couple of linear horozontal defects that are sort of under/through the paint. I’m 6’4", 215 lbs, so every now and then I wonder… No obvious cracks or anything (i’m not that stupid), but this is one of the only carbon components I have and so I’d like to know what to look for before I find myself unexpectedly in the gutter…
