I have been using Powercranks since Feb (longest ride just over 3 hours, but miss a chunk of training with the flue), and wondered when I should change the cranks over from my road bike to tri bike and start trying them in an aero position. Also I have a P2k, which pre powercranks I had setup with the saddle in a forward position should I look to change this to accommodate riding with the cranks?
I would get the cranks on the tri bike ASAP if you want to reap benefits of riding the cranks during tris. I found that the cranks did little or nothing to help my power or pedal analysis when in the aero position, but did lots for my road position. Now I plan to spend a lot more time riding the PC’s in an aero position to see if I can change that.
