I just heard from Ken Glah that he has secured some spots for the race.

The entries are $1000 which is the normal $500 entry fee plus $500 which will be given to a local charity in Florianopolis. If you are interested in an entry please let me know ASAP as I am selling these on a first come first serve basis to my clients. I also have a limited number of entries for the sold out Ironman Switzerland race which is on July 12. The price for an entry to Ironman Switzerland is $675. The entries for Brazil and Switzerland are for EST clients but will not last long. Have a look at my website for the EST tour packages for Brazil and Switzerland. These entries require that you book a ground package with EST. We can also help with airfares to Brazil if you are coming from North America or Europe.
Extremely disappointed with Ironman.com nonexistent coverage of the selling out of IM Brazil for 2010. In fact, the website still says accepting applications. Every other IM has info…selling out quickly…still spots, etc.
Why was there no information regarding Brazil - which historically never sells out in less than 6 months, let alone less than 30 days!!
Any chance they’ll open more slots since the field is relatively small in comparrison to Nice for example? The prices IRONGuides wants for entry is absolutely ridiculous.
