I am evaluating wheels for IM Switzerland (june 24th).
The course has, in each of the 3 laps, two climbs of 12’/14’ puls one short and steep climb of 1 km. The total climbing for the entire ride is 1.600m (5.500 ft).
According to my guessed performance (5h30’) I will have: 3h00’ flat/rolling;1h45’ climbing;0h45’ downhill.
I have a pair of Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL and a pair of Mavic Cosmic Carbon SSC.
Ksyrium are 500gr lighter than Cosmic but are less aero.
What do you suggest ?
Any opinion will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Paolo
Forget the K, the Cosmics would be my choice - because the make most bikes look cooler and faster.

What’s the mantra here? Aero trumps weight.
