Beautiful!

That is sweet!

Damn it. Does anyone know what could be wrong with my pc settings. I can only see pictures posted on slowtwitch about 30% of the time. I want to see that bike…

Wow! Yeah, you would like to see it. It is quite, um, amazing.

Seriously, if you can’t see the pics, drop me a PM and I’ll email them to you.

so, the “rim” doesn’t rotate, and the tire rotates on the rim?

Are you at work? My office blocks photobucket.com which a lot of people host pic’s on so I can’t see them when I am at work.

Too many technical queries to even start, but it does look pretty.

Generally I’m at work yeah, will try at home and see how it goes. Thanks very much.

And sorry for the hijack

That is dead sexy!

AHHHHHHHHHHH What are we looking at and is it real? (I want one just to freak out people). Tim

Thanks very much for the offer, much appreciated. Worked at home though. I was just looking at hubless wheels the other day.

Bike looks AWESOME.

Sorry to pick up on the most mundane part but what basebar is that? A new unreleased vision bar?

Its not carbon!?!?!?!?

I love it as a concept, but its kind of silly- it hsa SRAM red bar end shifters- but has no drivetrain- ie how does the poewr get from teh pedals to the wheels? ie what do the shifters really attach to.

Its clearly just a showpiece- a beaituful one, but i dont think the hubless bike wheels are really an option.

I’m shocked no one has compared it to a Softride or a Zipp yet. For all that people were turned off by those designs I can’t see why anyone would find this to be any better. Shiny yes…different no. Okay…so the wheels and obvious lack of drivetrain and cable make it look clean but the basic design remains the same. I wonder if the wheels operate on some kind of superconductor system…that would be impressive.

For all that people were turned off by those designs I can’t see why anyone would find this to be any better.

i don’t think that people were turned off per se by those designs, as both the zipp and the softride were very popular in their day (considering their quite steep prices).

but i think the main issue is that neither design has been significantly updated or refined since the mid 1990s. but the frame design in this pic (ignoring, or course, the imaginary and far-out wheels/bearings), while not particularly aero in shape, still i think shows the huge potential for such frame designs IF they are truly thought out.

No pedals?

I can’t believe they haven’t used Adamo saddle on this bike!

I don’t think it is UCI compliant!

Very nice concept bike though…Zipp on steroids!
