Wheel Selection for Windy, Wet, Hilly Sprint Tri

Doing a sprint tri this weekend with a 40-50mph downhill, a steady 3 mile climb and the weather forecast is a driving rainstorm. I am about 170-175 lbs and do not generally have trouble handling the bike but have yet to run a disc on a really windy + very wet day. The choices:

  1. Renn disc back + HED alps front

  2. HED alps front + back

  3. Veolmax Circuits from + back (my training wheels)

What’s the verdict??

#3.

Also, watching the Olympics comes to mind as a sound backup plan.
