Ok so I’ve looked everywhere for a solution and done just about everything in my skill set to fix it. I bought a set of wheels with a vintage uniglide free hub that I needed to replace. I replaced it with a New hyperglide hub and now when I set the wheel it rubs on the frame. I’ve tightened and loosened and nothing is working i have no idea what is wrong
Maybe replace the skewer.
I was thinking that but it was fine before I changed the freehub out. Now I’m not sure if the extra length of the freehub cheld Chang it? But its rubbing on the other side not the side with the cassette
Can you adjust the allen set screw in the axle cut out on the hub side? if you can screw it out a little, the non drive side of the tire @ bb should center within the chain stays.
wheel dish is off, how vintage?
Do you check if it fitted before changing the hub?
