Just looking for opinions on a good “bombproof” wheel for a heavy rider weighing 210lbs.
Mavic, Rolf, Campy, Bontrag. or other? Thanks for you help.
I weigh 215 lbs. and train on Mavic CXP 22 wheels w/32 spokes. They ride great and I have had no problems with durability(unlike w/my Zipps).
Over the past 4 years I’ve been anywhere from 230 - 205lbs…
I’ve ridden the Rolf Vector Comp as my training wheels and Hed 3’s as my racing wheels.
In 4 years I popped only 1 spoke on the Rolfs.
The Hed’s… well they’re bombproof anyway.
Can’t speak to the others…
