Wheel Covers (4)

Hello,

I want to know if you guys have an idea which Rear Wheel Cover is better/lighter, the one from Wheelbuilder or the CHAero from Excel Sports.

WheelBuilder $65.00

Thanks!

I thought they were the same thing.

Same thing. Richard will custom cut the covers for your specific wheel, customer service is great.

You’ll have to check the weights, but I believe the Wheelbuilder one is lighter…

I emailed wheelbuilder, because on the website they dont have the weight.

I too believe them to be the same cover.

I found that the cover fits great on Mavic MA3 rim with no trimming. I am very happy with my purchase. Obviously, the more the cover is reduced or trimmed the less it will weigh (by a few grams or so).

I believe the wheelbuilders cover is about 400-450grams. I put one on my zipp 404 that has a PT and it fits great and works great.
