When you are reflecting on your behaviour and how others view you. What is it?
Intolerance and impatience, as much with my children as work. With my children it’s not good for them or I, and I suspect that my expectations of them are unreasonable. In my defense they are loud and messy
I own a small CPA firm with 2 offices so manage a total staff of 7. There are days when I get frustrated and short-tempered and I hate that. I’m pretty good at keeping it to myself but that’s not necessarily a healthy way to work.
I had a boss once who was very demanding but really fair. He generated respect from everyone but when he came around, everyone kind of feared him at the same time. He was very good natured but somehow was able to balance being very demanding and able to demand respect without being overbearing. I have never come close to that.
I coach lacrosse and can get a little too passionate at times, so I try to work on that. Our team has only lost twice in 4 years though, so generally I’m fairly calm.

Are you kidding? Do you know about the instant gratification monkey? The LR is my dark playground.
It used to be being too pedantic now it has evolved into an ephemeral desire for precision but tolerance of some imprecision but not so much as to allow things to be imprecise.

I work too hard, don’t take time to ‘smell the roses’ and give myself downtime. This is an issue at work and at home, I’d much rather do projects at home than golf or meet up with friends or have a date night. Problem is I love it, but I’m working myself into an early grave like my dad and grandfather.

I never had any desire to do what is commonly referred to as “workâ€, but I have reluctantly played along.
I can’t help looking at chicks asses (and camel toes).
So one of your worst traits is being a red blooded straight male?
For me, it’s just making myself too busy. I think a lot of people see it as being a hard worker or being driven, but in reality, it’s just a burning off of anxious energy, and if I don’t check that regularly, I tend to burn out, or just find myself working at things that aren’t particularly productive or helpful.
