What one thing would you like to improve for 2007? I realize that most people have more then one, but pick the one big one.
Mine would be getting my messed up metabolism straightened out so that I can get to a good racing weight.

i want to be able to stay aero for the entire 56 miles of a HIM. My last two, I spent the last 6 or 7 miles in and out of aero.
I know its a training issue… Its just hard to find 56+ miles to ride in training that i can stay in aero. May have to just build up the mental toughness to ride the trainer in aero for about 3 hours. yuck.

Consistent Training, consistent healthy eating–I am either feast or famine when it comes to training, and a lot of that is because I haven’t made before-work workouts a part of my schedule. My improvement goal is to start training early and squeezing in workouts when time is cramped. Even though I know that it’s about as good for me as eating a fish out of the Hudson River, I still eat crap like little chocolate donuts every now and again. (I know I’m a sinner!) I think avoiding the stupid food choices would go a long way to improving my overall fitness.
avg 40k speed from 27 to 28.5 MPH

To improve my run training and stretching program so that I can train “injury-free.” No more nagging foot and ankle problems… that’s a goal. I hope improved stretching, massage, and run experience will help this.
have the most kick-ass outfit in every triathlon I show up to. and kick ass in it.
contemplating doing some sprints in a Victoria’s Secret bikini. they’re on clearance right now.

hmm good question…
I’d have to say to train at a higher level then I have ever trained before… And thus to blow away my milage in swim,bike, & run from last year.
Sub 37 Olympic 10k.
Show up for every race that Jocelyn is at.
Unless jocelyn is a guy, then forget what I said and my main goal is to get to a competetive pace in the swim portion of the tri.

Maybe mine will be to do every race in costume. I’ve raced as a superhero and a princess in the past.
Really though, I think I’ll join our local TT group (2x per week) and work on speed.

I want to BQ at the Ottawa Marathon in May.
I’ve been singing the National Anthem this last season before races in my wetsuit. My last one was at WC Ironman 70.3. My goal next year is to sing the line that has the high (big ) note without taken an extra breath. Wetsuits are not made to sing in, they’re constricting!

to sing at IM USA but the race director has not replied.
