What's your favorite healthy snack?

Crasins!
i can’t get enough!

Handful of pistachios and a handful of cherry or grape tomatoes.

Carrot sticks and bell pepper slices with hummus

Apple with PB

I am a fan of dried cranberries, persimmons, apples, pomegranate seeds, edamame, and coffee in no particular order.

pumpkin bread but now i want to try those zuchini muffins sounds like a great snack twice a day
.

Pistachios I’m addicted to them

Same here. I can eat a 1lb bag in two days…often I’m looking at 2 bags a week.

Greatest snack ever is cottage cheese, cinnamin, small slices of apple heated in the microwave, all mixed together with some splenda. It’s like a desert and it’s high in protein and all the other good stuff.

Fruit (usually bananas, apples, clementines or grapes) or raw almonds.

This: logan bread. Taylor ingredients to your liking.

Greek yogurt is a great source of protien. Dried mangos, apricots and bananas are great. Jerky on occasion as well.

raw almonds & wasabi peas
.

WHISKY w/ a splash of Everclear

Canned tuna is always good too.

Fritos - read the ingredients: whole corn, corn oil, and salt. no preservatives. the perfect food : )

and perhaps a Sierra Nevada Tumbler to wash them down : ))

2 plain rice cakes (35cal each)
Spread with natural peanut butter
Coat with a thin layer of honey

The best healthy treat ever.

I get my produce from a smaller market and try to stick to in season items… I get so f#%$ing sick of apples by November!

If you’re trying to stay local, then I’d suggest you try harder to kick that Doritos addiction… there’s nothing local about Doritos, anywhere.

  • larabar (any flavor)
  • dark chocolate (70%+)
  • fruit (banana w/ pb or apple w/ bit of honey)
  • greek yogurt w/ 1/4 scoop of chocolate whey protein or honey
  • Trail Mix (Almonds + Cashews + Raisins)

Cheers!

Easy-to-eat fruits like apples, oranges, clementines, nectarines, grapes
Veggies like baby carrots, celery sticks, cucumber slices or pretzels - dipped in hummus or dill/yogurt dip
Greek yogurt - add dried fruit or nuts to kick up flavor
Low fat string cheese
Applesauce (natural)
Nuts - been on a pistachio kick lately
Pre-made smoothies (Naked, Odwalla, etc.)
Fruit leather snacks
Bars: KIND bar, Larabar, Raw Revolution, etc.
Granola (homemade is best)
Popcorn (stove-popped, no extras)
Dark chocolate square (with natural peanut butter)
Sweet potato fries (baked - just cut up sweet potatoes, tiny bit of olive oil, salt)

I’ve found the key for me is to portion out items like pretzels or nuts into snack-sized baggies. Otherwise I’ll eat 4-6 servings without realizing it.

Grapes.

Then any kind of fresh fruit.

Frozen bannana chips.

Slice them then place in a zip loc bag…excellent.

A Swedish house mate of mine sat in front of me eating doritos, buttered and then coated in cheese and told me it was part of his healthy no carbs diet. Unreal! Jaffa Cakes are a serious winner in terms of a mid session snack, especially on the bike!

My favorite is Dark chocolate covered crunchy Pretzels with no oil, no shortening. Wow! Just love it.
