What's your favorite easily-store-bought between meal snack?

I love Triscuits and hummus. Love it.

there is nothing better than club crackers with colbyjack cheese and a slice of pepperoni. Its like a small sandwich.

But the bad thing is if you eat to many it may turn into a meal.

I take Rold-Gold tiny twist pretzels and eat them with dry roasted almonds. Two almonds per tiny twist. In my mind, it’s the best snack ever. I eat some after workouts. My standard post-workout amount is 10 pretzels with 20 almonds. I take them to all my races. My girlfriend loves them too. I don’t know why, but I call them “tables”. Maybe because the almonds sit on the pretzel like on a table? Probably best not to probe the origins too far. But try them. Tables are the best.

cashews or a couple of warm corn tortillas with butter salt and hot sauce.

Bombay mix. It’s the snack of champions.

fruit and nut mix from costco
.

snickers?

Trail mix, lots of trail mix.

I make a special blend of Almonds, peanuts, raisins, dried cranberries and dried strawberrys. Sometime’s I’ll throw in whatever (healthy) cereal I have lying around.

It’s good pre workout food too.

Any Quaker Oats Granola bar.

Baby carrots and hummus.

Woiw that sounds like a healthy alternative to mine fried peanut infested spicy overload.

Lean Pocket Ultras (meatball is the best)
24g protein…5 or so g fat…have to admit, they taste a little “cardboardish” at first but you won’t notice that after you burn the taste buds off your tongue

Original lean pockets taste better but are lower in protein, higher in fat than the ultras

You can’t buy this at the store, but I figured I’d post it anyway…mix the following ingredients:

  • 1 box sugar free pudding (pistachio is good as is chocolate and banana cream)
~2 cups oats (never actually measured the amount, just tossed a bunch in)
-handful of almonds and raisins (craisins are good too)
    -2 heaping scoops proten powder
    -2 tbsp ground flax seeds

Add skim or 1% milk (1-2 cups) and start mixing…I usually mix the pudding, protein, flax and milk first then add oats, raisins, etc. Stick in fridge and enjoy…

the walgreens and supermarket here carry clif bars, so there you go…
