What's witht all the antagonism here, lately?

It’s starting to sound like rec.bicycles.racing around here, which is full of ex-high school jock types who like to put people down, or generally be nasty.

C’mon, triathletes may be gear-geeks, and may not be the best bike handlers, and they may WORSHIP the ground that Lance walks on, but at least you used to be able to count on them being respectful and nice.

Just my .02$

What antagonism?

Or, as Robert Deniro would say… Are you talking to me? (pointing finger) …I SAID, …You Talking to ME!?

yeah, slowtwitch is all bad… but let me tell you that it’s been a long time since I last saw a post here with the same kind of language you used.

You sound like a cry baby. Don’t take everthing so seriously. Chill out and eat some Oreos or go for a long bike or swim, it will do wonders for you.

Oreo should have his mouth washed with soap.

yeah, lately there has been a bit of it here, but the slowtwitch forum has been great for me in the past, from getting advice to just winding down and relaxing reading something. i hope the it will continue to be a generally positive forum. i always wonder about the guys who get angry and agressive on an online forum. what’s the point?

Happy? you got what you wanted, right? now how about sticking to the thread topic and commenting on the initial posters points instead of expressing your hypocrite POV’s in reference to language usage on this sight. I know of at least two of your own posts that use IMO even worse language… lets start with your username?

You’ve got a problem, and it’s not with me. Sort it out and then come back.

Well, I missed whatever language was used as I was off racing.

Oh well, OREO’s go straight to my thighs anyway…

that’s it… sorry to disappoint.

Well, political, religious, and social issue threads tend to heat up, but generally I enjoy a spirited discussion. I make allowances for the occasional fellow who oversteps the bounds of rational argument because some people simply don’t know how to make a compelling argument without getting emotional. That’s why a lot of guys avoid those threads. I prefer the fireworks. “Bring 'em on!”

Anyway, I can’t ride a bike 40 mph either, so, we’re even I figure. And, some people can’t spell, but I wouldn’t point fingers.
