Just as the title says. For me it’s the Speedplay Aero Pedal/Cleat (also on the front page of ST at the moment).
Edit: please leave a link to the article/product. Thanks.

Just read that Chris Chance is reviving Fat Chance cycles and will begin working on a new version of the Yo Eddy!.
No details yet, but I would love to see a steel 29’er with an new version of the classic Yo Eddy! fork. I’d be opening up my wallet pretty damn quickly for that.
I love my Speedplays! I can’t wait for these new pedals!
New Pearl Izumi speedsuit.
Phil Wood’s 1x13 drivetrain on a 222mm spaced hub.
I’m in for the new Zero’s when they hit the market. I just put a new set of current Zero’s on my tri bike a month ago, those will go to the road bike (currently riding Light Actions there). Can I already be this geeked up for next season???
Are these new pedals or covers I can buy and put over my exiisting zero pedals and cleats?

Link?
Looks like a cleat, plus a cover that snaps over one side of your pedals.
Can anyone who’s seen these tell me whether they’re Zero-specific, or is there something comparable for the X-series pedals? The two have a similar design but don’t share the same cleat.

'bout time somebody else capitalized on Cavanagh’s data from the 1984 Olympics…
EDIT: From pages 41-42 of Chet Kyle’s chapter in Ed Burke’s High-tech Cycling:
“In 1984, Peter Cavanagh built a pair of prototype streamlined cycling shoes with an integral pedal (the pedal was part of the shoe and only the axle protruded from the side of the shoe). Cavanagh’s shoe/pedal lowered air drag of the feet over 200 g at 30 mph (Kyle 1986). The streamlined shoes would have provided over a 1-min advantage in a 40 km time trial.”
x2 for the Speedplays - the other fun thing I have just seen is a gal getting a tattoo on one of the trade stands… ![]()
