…is that it’s “over there”. Before it existed we’d have a post that would start about bike aerodynamics or some other tri topic and degenenerate into a we love/hate GWB thread.
I’ve only posted “over there” about three times since it started. Before it was just too easy to get drawn into the political type posts. That was a total drag because we should be talking triathlon. Besides, all the conservatives were starting to hate me.
Slowman, Tibb’s Lavender Room is your best idea since the steep angle bike.
If you want to get into heated arguments about all that stuff go over to the Free Republic website and register for their forum. I’ve been over there occasionally, and it can get ugly. But, it’s a GOOD ugly
It’s been a great idea. It’s a lot of fun to debate politics, and when you want to do that, you can go there. But now, you can stay here to learn all sorts of things about triathlons for weeks and probably not miss a single debate over there.
How do you find Tibbsies Lavender Room? I want to go over there and lurk and read all the screaming about women in combat Having been in combat on a few occasions, I can’t really see how anybody, man or woman, would want to have the right to be allowed to be sent into it.
For sure, most of the men I’ve known have felt that way.
Go to the drop box at the lower right or upper right of the page. It currently reads Triathlon Forum select Tibb’s Lavender Room and click Jump to Forum.

Prepare to be amazed. Allowing women in combat is now a litmus test for your stance on women’s rights. Equivalent to the right to vote. I might be exaggerating just a tad. But maybe not. :-0
