What's a better use of training time: one leg drills or 2x20's?

On my limited time available, I probably don’t have time for both workouts every week. Should I alternate weeks and do both or just focus on one of them? Is it fair to generalize that 2x20’s work more threshold/V02 max, while the one leg work is more focused on strength?

I’d say these are both effective workouts but probably should be done at different times of the season. 2x20 is metally quite difficult (for me anyway) so I’d stick with the one leg drills in the offseason and leave the 2x20 for closer to race time. Also, one leg drills are much easier to do on the trainer so you might as well do those now while you’re stuck inside.
