4.3 (truncated to 4.0) in undergrad. 4.0 in graduate school. I drank a LOT. I just arranged my class schedule so my drugs and alchohol didn’t interfere with attendance.
Actually, I had pretty close to perfect attendance. I know, lame. I never felt guilty about all the partying and whatnot…but skipping a class filled me with Midwestern angst. ![]()
3.42 , missed Latin honors due to a C in principles of micro-econ my freshman year. Kinda ironic I work on Wall St. now…
Majored in French/Italian
3.4999 had i see my first semester was horrible. When the surf was up hard to go to school. Took me three attempts to get rolling on a degree, once I found the proper motivation finished a Health Care Admin Degree in just 3.5 years. Masters GPA 3.75
Thanks its freezing today! well most of Northern America is today. First day of classes and I’m already using the tunnels.
3.6. If I wanted to do better than that, I would have actually had to study or something.
As of this posting I have a 4.0 going right now.
I admit that it is a bit easier when you only have to take 1 or 2 classes at a time. But I have other life stressors that get in the way.

Jeez, everyone here is making me feel horrible. I’m at like a 2.89 right now (in the middle of my junior year). Of course I think I’m also the only person majoring in Biophysics in my year. There are only about 30 of us taking physics classes together right now.
Maybe it would help if I studied…nah
Quote 3.1, but I drank a lot.
Chemical engineering or comunications? There’s a difference.

I was on the rugby team and did a degree in Chemical Eng’g. There was some drinking involved. Apparently mine converts to a 3.7
3.5 Underground
3.6 Doctorate
.
Dont know I was to busy running the table playing nine ball supplmenting my meager low wage income.
baseball (Teammates), alcohol, marijuana, and ladies.
I was a quadruple major as well.
- Track and Field
- Full Time Job
- Dysfunctional Family Problems
- Mother Dying of Cancer
…still managed to hold a 2.8 through 3 years of a top 40 engineering program. Finshed with a BA in math education with a 2.6.
Needless to say, there wasn’t exactly room for drinking or ladies. When I got tested for dyslexia, I had to see a guidance counselor. He went through my schedule and wanted to know when the hell I had time to study and do homework. I told him it was easy. I skipped class to do homework and I didn’t study. That got me through junior year before I cracked.
Went back to finish the engineering degree in 2003. 25 credits left and I earned a 3.9 (the two A-'s were on group projects).
3.0, just enough to keep the puny scholarships. Went to a Baptist College so no drinking. Worked 50+ hours a week. Graduated in 4 years…but debt free!

No drinking, you must of hit the bong pretty hard huh?
Undergrad: 3.65 (Mechanical Engineering)
Law: I don’t remember having a GPA (I’m sure I did, I just do not remember) but I was 3rd in my class.
Why do you ask?
Undergrad: 18-22 y/o- 2.65. I had a 3.2 after freshman year, got a scholarship (Army ROTC), and proceeded to drink, chase women, and do stuff that I found more interesting than school- I was in a military school (Virginia Tech), and spent most of my time on that. I got shitty grades because I was lazy, and just wanted to do enough to get by and get out into the Army. By the time I was 25, I was ashamed.
In 2006, at 29, I took the pre-req’s for the Army’s PA school, joined the Guard (had been a civilian for 3 years), and got A’s (worst grade was a 98) while working full time and being a husband and father.
I got my shot at redemption, and have been back in school since April 2008. 3.94 1st semester, about a 3.8 the 2nd. 2nd chances like this are rare, so I’m making the most of it. Not sure when (might be a good # of years), but I will eventually get a PhD- just a personal goal. The good grades I’m getting now are for my father, who I disappointed the 1st time, and my wife, who has put up with all kinds of crazy shit as I’ve beaten back the ennui of the past.
Wow, a bunch of nerds here! Maybe I should start another thread called “Did You Lie About Your GPA!”
: )
A better question might be; since graduation, has anyone found someone else who cares what their gpa was? ![]()
No, the alcoholism came much later. I couldn’t afford weed, and when would I smoke it?
3.4. undergrad. Majored in journalism. Equivalent, in my opinion, to a 3.9 in psych or a 2.2 in a science. ![]()
Masters in Ed: 3.9. But unlike many teachers I can write quickly and well (when required). That J degree gave me a big advantage over the poor science majors.

Not me… I hated going to class and listening to profs who could barely speak english anyway. Got an A in a couple of classes that only went to 3 times… first day, midterm, and final. 4.6/5.0.
BTW… didn’t eveybody drink a lot in college? If not, then why were you there?
