In the market for a new top, as I’m tired of having major nip chaffing.
Prefer one with sleeves, if possible. Any recommendations are welcome.
The Slow Twitch/Cervelo/Peaceful Tribe LCS top of course! It really does rock in terms of performance and is truly on of a kind.
As for the nips…use Skin Shield liquid bandage, paint two coats on those babies before you suit up for your long runs (just the tips, no need to cover the entire surface and BTW, try not to get any on the chest hair if you have it), never have a problem again. You could run in a wet t-shirt all day and have zero chaffing issues. Peels right off in the shower. Plus, it’s virtually invisible under the top and if you like to go topless after, looks way better than freakin’ Band Aids.
I used the new pearl izumi top at the disney half IM and my nips felt great!
So that wasn’t you with the red streaks running down from your nipples? Just seeing that guy made me hurt!
DeSoto zip tri jersey. It’s sleeveless, but has excellent shoulder coverage. I’ve never had chafing problems with these.
