Garmin forerunner 610 can’t be charged by charging cable anymore (Tried another charging cable already), but can still connect to garminconnect. Any solutions to this problem?

I have a customer with the exact same problem. Firmware update did the trick.

What did garmin say? Their customer service is excellent. If it is out of warranty, do not assume they won’t do something for you.
Okay thanks for the info will try that. Hopefully mine isn’t a physical problem because it seems to charge normally if I use force push the charging cable into the watch.

Didn’t have any luck with firmware/ hard reset. Hopefully Garmin can give me a replacement.
Long shot, but some have had success in cleaning the contacts with an eraser or such.
I sent a Forerunner back to Garmin after receiving a return authorization and they replaced it with a new unit. Quickly. Good service.
