what Im wondering is do they use the same saddle for both tt and road positions.

Officially they are using Bontrager saddles, but in reality they are all sanmarco saddles with Bontrager-ised covers. Lance is still using his trusty concor lite and Hincapie his strada 200 and Savoldeli his old regal.
I believe that as long as a saddle is comfortable then it is worth any wieght. People who sacrifice comfort for grams scare me.
it looked to me like all on the team had the same saddle in the TT.
