I’m uninstalling I Heart Radio and want a radio app that doesn’t insert it’s own commercials and PSAs into the original stream. Any suggestions?
Here’s my issue. I’m listening to a local radio station, on I Heart Radio, they carry my university’s football games. I Heart Radio inserts their own commercials and PSAs into the broadcast while the game is going on. I’m sure it’s because the insertions are on a clock-related basis but it fucks with listening to a real live football game.
I like TuneInRadio. I don’t listen to it for the radio aspect, but for the podcast and they don’t have any additional commercials. That makes me think they wouldn’t for the radio part either.

I listen to my university’s game broadcast instead of the idiots blabbering on the TV. So I simulcast the radio play by play from my smartphone via Bluetooth to the TV soundbar and mute the TV. Thanks for asking.
