After doing IMLP some 8 or nine times I can tell you with out a shadow of a doubt that with that out and back (twice) the distance is 112 miles on the dot - other than that does it really matter?
About 7 miles each way…
Pretty sure it’s almost exactly 20k…10k out, 10 back.
I was just trying to figure out how I will manage my nutrition with my splits. I like to break the bike leg in sections…

Not as long as the out and back on the run.
It’s a narrow section of road, bumpy, and there will be a lot of stuff on the road that fell off bikes. I wouldn’t plan on taking in any nutrition while in there, as you will be focusing on maintaining your position (it’s really crowded in there) and not hitting anything on the road. There’s an aid station at the turnaround if you need to pick anything up.
