Seeing the thread on pros you respect, when I began racing tris I was a big fan of Widoff. He owned Wildflower there for a while. Yesterday I watched the 2005 Hawaii Ironman, the one where Widoff was fourth overall and top American. I haven’t seen his name much lately though. What is he doing? Has he been injured? Is he retired? Coaching?

Yeah I saw that…it hasn’t been updated in 11 months.
I saw him in Kona this year and he said that he is working with Macca. (helping him out)

Sorry for the minor threadjack, but I remember hearing Peter Reid say “I don’t care for that guy” about Cam Widoff on a dvd. I always thought it was funny to hear a pro say something like that about another pro with a mic in front of him.
