What has infected my oak tree

cinquapin oak. Leaves curling. White fluffy fungus like stuff under. Does not look like oak wilt. Any ideas

Post some pics, please!

I hope it’s not this

We got it one year and spent months taking my kid to the doctor and even vet trying to figure out the weird bug bites.

I came across that when I was trying to figure out what it was on the internet. It isn’t that and I am not scratching yet! I can see where that would be a tough one to figure out.

When you described it I thought it might be “oak tatters” but that ain’t it from the picture.

You should have a county extension office if you are in the US they should be able to help you. Mine had helped with tree problems before. They will know what’s going on.

Google them and call.

I was at the equivalent of that in my province of Ontario this afternoon. They gave my the number of a guy. I have called but so far just was able to leave a message. thanks

My husband brought our dog and child to the vet and said I need to know if the dog is harboring something that is causing these bites.

Might be anthracnose, especially if you had a wet spring. More common in white oak, but can infect any oak species
