I was wondering the same thing, I enjoyed reading it. I saw that Shane Smith (editor) was comentating or something like that at IMWA, so he’s definitely still around the sport. Probably just wasn’t viable.

was Shane the dude who got into the fight at the Kona Brewery? Two AG were tossed right after the Macca/Normann kiss.
I was asking Shane (Smith) the same thing in Kona. The answer is that he’s recently purchased TriTravel - a sports travel agent here in Aust - plus some hassles with advertisers not paying, yada, yada, yada.
But he did say he was hoping to get it going again but as a newsletter / promotional tool for TriTravel (.com.au). Lets hope so…it was great.

Unfortunately publications come and go all the time. With respect, I don’t think many people have any idea of the work that goes into publishing even a modest level magazine. Great content and layout is everywhere these days thanks to the internet and digital grphics technology. The two biggest challenges to any new publication is:
- Selling the ad space.
- Building the subscriber base
Of course these two go hand in hand, and no publication is going anywhere for very long with out either being well established.
