I weighed my bike last week and it weighed in at 21.5 lbs. That’s with all the gear attached except water in the bottles. Wheels are a HED disk rear and HED 3 front. I thought that was pretty reasonable given I had all the equipment set up on the bike. What does your bikes weigh? Before anybody gets all “pissy” I didn’t search for similar posts.
With my new front wheel, and if I can get a “real” seatpost (as opposed to my stiff, heavy, uncomfy aluminum rock) I’m guessing I can take it down to around 18 pounds.
Also, let me know if your bikes are aluminum or carbon or steel etc.
Cheap aluminum.
Aluminium, right around 18 lbs.

The second part of this query should be “How much do you weigh?” The bike doesn’t do much without the rider, and you gotta accelerate both of 'em.
Me - 153ish lbs.
Bike - 17ish lbs.
That’s a good point with regard to riders weight. I wasn’t thinking my bike would be that much heavier than most.

On that note, I have always wanted to see how I could do against a profesional cyclist riding an 80 pound bike . . . .
Bike is a softride Power V that weighs in at 23 lbs
Rider tips the scales at 178 lbs.
I raced Ironman Arizona at 190 lbs. If I were to try and attempt to take 12 pounds off of my bike it would cost a hell of a lot more than it did to take it off of me. By the time I hit Ironman Florida the bike should be about the same but hopefully I will have dropped a few more lbs.
