What does a white saddle look like a year later?

I’m thinking of buying one of those slick looking white saddles.

Do they only look nice for a few months? After a year or so will it look dirty and slimy?

Thoughts from those out here that have purchased one?

I’ll let you know after this season is over… It’s holding up ok so far.

My SLR was already a bit used when I got it. It still looks similar after several months. I was thinking about doing a little warm soapy water light scrub soon.

I had a white saddle on my road bike which I rode maybe 2 times a week for a couple of years and that held up pretty well.

This one is about a year and a half old. Some wear and some road schmutz on it.

OK I’m sold.

they appear to hold up quite well.

I had the specialized toupe and no problems with the saddle coloring - just that I broke two of them in a year and a half

it’s the white bar tape that’s a pain to keep clean

That’s kinda what lead me to be concerned about white saddles. Especially with my dirty a$$ on the saddle all the time.

Hopefully not brown;-)
.

I have a toupe with no issues after a year, even with heavy sweat and chamois butter.

well i guess the tape’s not that bad if you don’t mind taking the time to actually clean it…
