What do I need to install new brake calipers?

I am replacing a set of old 105 calipers w/ some new Ultegra ones. What tools do I need to do this? Do I need to take the cables off all the way to the brake levers? thanks!

likely two allen keys…one to remove the nut from inside the frame/fork (proably a 5mm) and another allen wrench to remove/loosen the bolt that holds the cable in place. Cables stay in place…just slide them out of the barrel that adjusts the tension and then feed them into the new barrels. Slip the cable back under the same bolt/washer of the new calipers…pull the cable taught and tighten that bolt. If you pull on the brake levers and it’s not tight enough turn the barrel clockwise and it should tighten up. Unless…it was wound up already…in which case wind it down…pull the slack…retighten and try 'er again.
