With the Cobras, because they have hard plastic arms you don’t need them super tight, I have mine quite loose actually and they stay put.
Special Ops 2. The Special Ops 3s come loose very easily and should be trashed by the company.
x4 on the Swedes.
Amen. Love the 2.0 and recently tried Zionor G1 SE and now I’m never going back to the 2.0.
My favorites have changed over time as swim goggles tech has changed over time.
Previously finding goggles with enough lateral vision (an important factor for outdoor swims) was like looking for the holy grail.
For indoor swimming (pools) I like a clear or a light blue lens, for outdoor swims a dark blue lens. It makes murky lake water look nicer…
I know of Aquasphere, Speedo and others but as of late Speedo have become extremely expensive and there was a time around 2017 when you could not get a light blue lens they were all dark mirror which is not ideal for indoor swims.
Nose bridge height is another factor as is the thickness of the silicone nose bridge. Best to try a few to see how the frame fits the contours of your eyes and nose.
Currently and I am sticking with it my overall favorite is HUUB. They are light, have plenty of lateral vision and have a wide eye socket lens.
Loved the magic 5 as they made me feel I looked like Frodo. But I lost them.
Switched to the form swim goggles. Def not as comfy but I really like their workouts from within the goggles. And the ability to use their compass thing for open water swim to go straight.
