This is a link to the best long-distance running site I have ever seen. Questions and answers to tons of subjects (hydration, blisters, training, racing, recovery, injury… you name it).
At the far bottom right of the site, you can subscribe to the Ultra List. It’s a great way to ask you own questions and get advice from other runners.
The focus of the site is on ultra-marathoning, but there is info for anyone trying to “go long,” and they don’t shun the non-ultra runners, rather they welcome their questions, too.
You will get 20 or more emails a day from the list, many can just be deleted right away if you don’t care about the topic (usually this-or-that 100 mile race, or – like this forum – occasional topics on politics, etc.)
The nicest resource is being able to get your own questions answered.
