Putting Tiger and Phil in the same pairing on the final round was a perfect recipe for both to make a real run. Now with both only a stroke back, and Phil’s putter seeming to desert him, this could be really exciting. The Leaders just seem to have fallen back all day, bit by bit.
If Tiger gets a birdie on either of the last its more than possible that he could just sit in the club house and wait as they come apart like cheap suits…

Mickelson had this tournament until 12, when he made a terrible club selection. He and Tiger did put on a fantastic charge, though.
